Preferably, you can download sqlmap by cloning the Git repository:

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/sqlmapproject/sqlmap.git sqlmap-dev

Alternatively, you can retrieve the latest (monthly) package from the PyPI repository:

pip install --upgrade sqlmap

You can update sqlmap at any time to the latest development version by running:

python sqlmap.py --update

or:

git pull
